Germantown Public Library Moving Forward

General procedures during the COVID-19 Pandemic

  -The Germantown Public Library will operate in accordance with the Ohio Public Health Advisory System

   -Our building will be open when Montgomery County is listed as a Level 1 or Level 2

  -When the County is at a Level 3, our building will be closed to the public

  -All library materials must be returned in the outside book drop

  -When open, the hour of 9-10 am will be reserved for Seniors and vulnerable library patrons to browse    

  -Programs will not be held in the building

  -Meeting rooms may not be reserved or used

  -Our public restrooms will be closed

  -Computer times and sessions will be limited

  -Building capacity will be limited to 50 people

  -Visiting groups are asked to stay together while they are in the library

  -High touch surfaces will be routinely disinfected

  -Curbside Pickup Service will continue

 

Ohio Public Health Advisory System Level One and Level Two                                                 

 Building is open

  - Wear a mask

  -Maintain social distancing between other patrons

  -Browse the shelves

  -Use our computers

  -Ask us questions!

  -For close contact or one on one help, patron must wear mask

  -Limit your group to less than 10 people

  -Continue to use our Curbside Pickup Service

 

Ohio Public Health Advisory System Level Three

Building is Closed

 -Building is closed to the public

  -Curbside Pickup Service available

  -Staff will be available to answer phones and assist patrons

 

Ohio Public Health Advisory System Level Four

Building is closed

  -Building Closed to staff and public
